Back to school

Its that time of year again... Back to school! As a student and a teacher, its not exactly a very exciting time. After spending the summer in the sun, sand, and surf, its not going to be easy getting back to the daily grind. But one thing does get me excited about this time of year.... shopping for new clothes!

Living in the sunny and very humid Florida, I feel that fall fashion trends don't exactly apply. But here are a few staples of the season that I'll definitely be looking into.

• Jeweled tones: Saphire, Garnet, Amethyst, and especially Emerald. These are this Fall's go to colors. They look great together and look great alone.  Here are a few examples

• Peplum tops: A trend that works on most body shapes. Makes your body look like an hour glass. A must have for every girl.
• Leather: Although its too hot down here to sport a leather jacker or leather pants, leather makes a great accesory. A leather strap bracelet, leather shoes, leather bag, just because its hot doesn't mean we can't follow this trend.
